Friday, October 23 at 2:00 PM — the early afternoon slot at Sphere on a fall weekend, and The Wizard of Oz is the anchor event on the Strip.
Creative director Zack Winokur treated this as a new production, not a restoration. Google’s AI models rebuilt the footage beyond its original borders for a 16K screen; Oscar-winning collaborators handled VFX and editing; a full orchestra re-recorded the score. Live haptics, wind, fog, and scent run throughout. The afternoon show gets you out in time for whatever Las Vegas has next.
