The Wizard of Oz at Sphere

Monday evening, September 14 at 5:00 PM — a weeknight at Sphere that puts The Wizard of Oz in front of a more intimate crowd than the weekend rush.
The production uses Google’s Veo 2 and Imagen 3 AI models to expand the original 1939 footage to fill Sphere’s 16K screen — including generating imagery beyond the original frame edges. The re-recorded score and live in-room effects round out an experience that feels genuinely different every time the lights go down.
