This site is a love letter to Las Vegas. I arrived here in 1999 in time for the city to explode…well, implode and then explode. I’ve seen landmarks like the Desert Inn, the Sands and Riviera give way to Resorts World, The Venetian and the massive and impressive new Convention Center. No other city reinvents itself like Las Vegas.
When I moved here, people were still asking what is it we all do here, really. I even got the classic question if we all lived in the casinos. I think that’s in the past but I still don’t believe that people understand how much culture there is here. 1 October, I believe, let the world know that Las Vegas is a community.
This site is a love letter to my home, Las Vegas. It is intended to celebrate and promote creators and those who contribute to the culture of our Valley. I hope you find it enjoyable and useful.
