Join us from 12 pm- 6 pm as we celebrate another year of independent action filmmakers from December 4th and 5th at the famous Brenden Theatre in Las Vegas at the Palms Casino and Resort!

GainesCon Film Festival is a certified 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated in showcasing, educating, and producing the work of aspiring filmmakers and fellow creatives within UNDERSERVED COMMUNITIES & BEYOND, whose content lies within the realm of ACTION, SCI-FI, FANTASY, and HORROR.

A crucial component of our cause is strongly emphasizing the cultural representation of various ethnic and underrepresented groups within these genres.

This two day event will be shown simultaneously IN-PERSON & VIRTUAL.

Our event will include a Special Presentation of Tom Welling’s (Smallville) new movie “MAFIA WARS”, directed by well-known action director, Mr. Scott Windhauser.

Also, we’ll have one of Hollywoods top stuntman, Mr. Rustic Bodomov, who has been in movies such as “Wakanda Forever” to discuss the road on becoming a working stunt performer.

And, we are fortunate to have the mult-awarding winning film composer, Mr. Michael Vignola, who will discuss the various aspect on creating the correct tone for a scene.

Having all this amazing content under one event won’t be fitting unless there was a way to award those with exceptional material. So we have created “THE DRAGON AWARDS” on the last day of the festival! This beautiful trophy was designed by an amazing illustrator, David Jennings from Ireland, with each hand painted by our renowned makeup artist Mrs. Faith Rios, which makes each Dragon unique. It represents the FORTITUDE, VISION and the INTERNAL FLAME needed to complete any project.

So, join us as we begin a new and exciting space for action, sci-fi, fantasy and horror creators!!
