Friday August 14 at 7:00 PM at Comedy Cellar Las Vegas: the early show at the Rio gets you 90 minutes of headliner-level showcase stand-up and has you back out on a Las Vegas August Friday before most people have even decided where to go next. Five rotating headliners, an underground room, a fresh weekly bill.
The Comedy Cellar’s format is the same for the early Friday show as every other night: five comics doing proper 15-to-20-minute sets in the intimate 300-seat room at the Rio that was modeled on the original Greenwich Village club. The rotating lineup for this week is announced fresh, adults-only 18-and-up. Early Friday in August at the Comedy Cellar is one of the better ways to start a Las Vegas weekend.
