The teenage Esmé (short for Esmerelda) moves from the French countryside to live with her uncle Gustav, the proprietor of a café on a busy cobblestone street, and encounters all of the quirky, irresistible characters who live and work nearby. Featuring the music of brilliant French composer, Erik Satie, with new lyrics from David James Robinson, ESMÉ is guaranteed fun for the whole family in the spirit of The Wizard of Oz and Alice in Wonderland.
