Trans-Siberian Orchestra – The Ghosts Of Christmas Eve

Trans-Siberian Orchestra’s 30th-anniversary winter tour brings “The Ghosts of Christmas Eve” to Michelob Ultra Arena on Friday, December 4. It’s the full TSO machine: heavy metal guitars, a classical string section, theatrical vocalists, pyrotechnics and a laser show, all wrapped around a Christmas story.
The production draws on TSO’s 1999 “Ghosts of Christmas Eve” film and album — a runaway takes shelter in an abandoned vaudeville theater on December 24, and the theater’s ghosts and spirits guide her home. The narrative was woven by late founder Paul O’Neill, whose winter tours have become a multigenerational tradition; the band’s music director estimates nearly half of each crowd has been coming since the beginning.
The tour fields multiple touring companies to cover dozens of cities each season; Las Vegas gets one night of it, at Mandalay Bay’s 12,000-seat arena.
