The week’s first Sphere show on Monday, June 8 at 5:00 PM is a chance to see what Academy Award-winning visual effects specialist Ben Grossmann and his team built for this Las Vegas residency.
Over 1,800 unique AI elements were generated to expand the 1939 film for Sphere’s wraparound 16K display, with Grossmann collaborating alongside producer Jane Rosenthal and creative director Zack Winokur. The goal was a beloved film rebuilt as something that fills the room from every direction — and they delivered it.
