Monday, August 17 at 8:00 PM, one of the few late Monday-night slots in the run brings The Wizard of Oz to Sphere as the Las Vegas summer starts to wind toward its close on the Strip.
Evening shows this late in the calendar feel like a particular privilege: the Strip is lit up outside, the venue is dark inside, and pyrotechnics erupt in a room whose 16K wraparound display has Oz surrounding you on every surface. This is still one of the best ways to spend a Las Vegas Monday night at this point in the extended run.
