The Wizard of Oz at Sphere

Wednesday afternoon, July 8 at 2:00 PM is a solid midweek slot to finally see what Sphere’s collaboration with Google AI actually produced for The Wizard of Oz in terms of visual scope and coverage.
The AI was used to expand original 1939 film frames beyond what the camera captured, generating new imagery that fills Sphere’s 160,000-square-foot display from edge to edge. More than 1,800 unique AI elements went into the production — all in service of making the world of Oz feel genuinely present around you in Las Vegas.
