Tuesday, June 23 at 5:00 PM at Sphere, The Wizard of Oz continues under the creative direction of Zack Winokur, who shaped how the 1939 film’s emotional beats translate into a multi-sensory experience in Las Vegas.
Winokur collaborated with producer Jane Rosenthal and VFX specialist Ben Grossmann to ensure the physical effects — snow, wind, fog, fire — land in sync with the film’s most celebrated moments rather than as disconnected spectacle. The 167,000-speaker Sphere Immersive Sound system and 160,000-square-foot 16K display give the production a scale that no other venue in the world can match. This is a production with a real point of view behind every scene.
