Tuesday, June 2 at 5:00 PM, Sphere’s wraparound display pulls the 1939 Wizard of Oz into crisp, breathtaking 16K resolution — Google AI was used to upscale and expand every original frame for this venue’s enormous canvas, generating imagery well beyond what the original cameras could capture.
The result is Dorothy’s world stretching floor-to-ceiling and wall-to-wall around you in every direction. Las Vegas has no shortage of spectacle, but what Sphere built here is genuinely its own distinct category of live experience on the Strip.
