Thursday night, December 17 at 8:00 PM at Sphere at The Venetian Resort: the weekend is close, the show is ready, and The Wizard of Oz at Sphere has been filling this building to thunderous effect since August 2025. A late-Thursday show at Sphere feels like a head start on the weekend.
The 75-minute experience wraps the AI-enhanced 16K film around you on a 160,000-square-foot screen built to surround rather than face an audience. Sphere’s 167,000-speaker immersive sound system carries the re-recorded score while haptic seats, wind, fog, fire, and scent complete the sensory picture. Follow it up with dinner in the Venetian and you’ve got a full Las Vegas evening.
