Wednesday, December 9 at 8:00 PM, Sphere at The Venetian Resort gives the middle of the week a serious anchor. The Wednesday show draws a focused weeknight crowd — easier to get to, and audiences who show up on a weeknight are there to pay full attention.
The Wizard of Oz at Sphere has been running since August 2025 for good reason: the 75-minute 4D reimagining of the 1939 film uses Sphere’s entire wraparound surface as its canvas, with a re-recorded score, AI-upscaled 16K footage, and physical effects that include fog, wind, fire, and haptic seating throughout the auditorium. Las Vegas entertainment at its most inventive, on a December Wednesday when the city is fully alive.
