Saturday morning at Sphere at The Venetian Resort kicks off with an 11:00 AM screening of The Wizard of Oz — and this is nothing like watching it at home. The 1939 classic has been reimagined as a 75-minute 4D experience, projected in 16K across Sphere’s 160,000-square-foot wraparound screen with a fully re-recorded score pumped through 167,000 programmable speakers.
Wind arrays, atmospheric fog, fire bursts, and infrasound haptic seats put you inside the twister, the poppy field, and the Emerald City. Las Vegas has seen bold reinventions of classic material, but this one genuinely earns the word.
