Wednesday night, November 18 at 8:00 PM at Sphere at The Venetian Resort — a midweek evening show that makes the back half of the week feel like it was worth the wait.
Creative director Zack Winokur and a team including Oscar winners in VFX and editing rebuilt the 1939 Wizard of Oz for one purpose: to fill Sphere’s 16K screen with everything the building can do. Google AI expanded the footage; the full score was re-recorded; haptics, wind, fog, and scent are live throughout. Wednesday night at Sphere is as good as it gets mid-week in Las Vegas.
