The original Judy Garland-era orchestrations were fully re-recorded and remastered for Sphere Immersive Sound’s 167,000-speaker system, which can direct any instrument to any seat in the venue. Wind arrays, fog machines, and infrasound haptic seats build the world of Oz around you while 160,000 square feet of 16K wraparound display fills every sightline. When the score swells during the Emerald City sequence in that Las Vegas room, you understand why this production keeps drawing new crowds week after week.
