The Wizard of Oz at Sphere

The Wizard of Oz at Sphere turns the 1939 MGM classic into a 75-minute immersive spectacle, wrapping the audience in the film across Sphere’s 160,000-square-foot interior display. Since opening in August 2025, the production has sold more than a million tickets — the biggest Sphere Experience to date, with haptic seats and in-theater wind and scent effects that put you inside the cyclone rather than in front of it.

Sphere sits just east of the Strip at the Venetian, and the 17,600-seat dome is the largest LED display environment ever built. Arrive early — the atrium’s pre-show exhibits are part of the experience, and doors open well before showtime.

Unlike a concert residency, this one is genuinely all-ages: afternoon showtimes make it one of the few marquee Sphere productions that works as a family outing.
