Sunday night, September 20 at 8:00 PM — the week’s final Sphere evening show, and one of the more atmospheric times to be inside that room.
The Wizard of Oz was reimagined by creative director Zack Winokur and a team that includes Oscar winners in both VFX and editing. The 1939 footage was AI-enhanced by Google for Sphere’s 16K screen, the score was re-recorded in full, and live sensory effects — haptics, wind, fog, scent — run throughout the screening. Las Vegas at night, Sphere at full capacity: this is the show.
