Monday, December 14th at 8:00 PM, Brad Garrett’s Comedy Club at MGM Hotel and Casino opens the pre-Christmas week with Spencer James taking the stage for the first of his seven-night holiday-season run.
A Las Vegas-based stand-up who has entertained crowds at clubs and on cruise ships across the country, James brings a distinctive blend of sharp one-liners, personal storytelling, and the occasional a cappella moment that makes his sets genuinely hard to categorize. He cites Richard Pryor’s vulnerability and Mitch Hedberg’s one-liner instinct as influences, and both are audible in the live show. Starting the holiday week in this Strip room with a hometown headliner this sharp is a very good way to begin December’s final stretch.
