Brooklyn Bowl Las Vegas hosts Snarky Puppy on Monday at 7:30 PM as the Grammy-winning collective brings the Somni Tour through Las Vegas, supporting their collaboration with the Metropole Orkest and conductor Jules Buckley.
Led by bassist Michael League, Snarky Puppy rotates through a 40-member roster and plays jazz-funk-fusion with the tightness of a small group and the reach of an orchestra, and the Somni material pushes that range even further. Monday nights at Brooklyn Bowl were built for a band this committed to the idea that groove and complexity are not opposites.
