Wednesday, June 3rd at 7:30 PM, Shucked returns to Reynolds Hall at the Smith Center for night two of its week-long Las Vegas engagement — the touring production’s second chance to win over a new audience in this city.
The Tony-winning book by Robert Horn and Grammy-winning country score by Brandy Clark and Shane McAnally give the show a flavor entirely its own — sharp comedy with a specifically American, corn-belt sensibility that never winks at itself too hard. Direction by three-time Tony winner Jack O’Brien keeps the production tight and funny from curtain to curtain. Wednesday evening at the Smith Center is one of the most enjoyable nights this touring production has left on its calendar.
