Market In The Plaza – Her Story Through Art Event

This event extends the themes of the art exhibition “Her Story Through Art” beyond the gallery walls by celebrating entrepreneurship, creativity and community.

A collaboration between Raw Femme and Market in the Alley, this special outdoor market transforms the Las Vegas Civic Center outdoor plaza into a vibrant gathering, showcasing local women-owned businesses, artists and makers. Browse thoughtfully curated goods, enjoy delicious bites from local food trucks, and experience a live performance by Jessica Manalo while supporting the small businesses, entrepreneurs and creatives who help shape Las Vegas’s thriving cultural community.

Throughout the event, exhibiting artists will create live paintings and engage with visitors, offering opportunities to learn more about their creative process and the works featured in Her Story Through Art.

Raw Femme Media is an Emmy Award-recognized cultural platform amplifying women and LGBTQ+ artists across creative mediums. Through storytelling, events and community programming, Raw Femme Media works to increase the visibility of women in the arts and close the gender gap in representation and opportunity.

Market in the Alley started in 2017 in a small, unknown alleyway that was transformed into a mini-Mecca for the Las Vegas creative community. Starting off with 20 vendors and 200 attendees, it has grown to a database of well over 300 small businesses and an average attendance of 2,000+ people. Market in the Alley has since expanded into a larger venue in the heart of the Arts District and other locations throughout the valley.
