Friday at MGM Grand Garden Arena, Journey plays a 7:30 PM show on the Final Frontier Tour — billed as A Special Evening With Journey, no opening act, extended set, and a Las Vegas date that falls on the Black Friday weekend.
With Arnel Pineda on lead vocals and Neal Schon and Jonathan Cain anchoring the band, Journey still delivers the full weight of “Don’t Stop Believin’,” “Open Arms,” “Faithfully,” and “Lights” live in an arena setting. The Final Frontier tour is building toward a conclusion, and Las Vegas gets a date on a run that won’t be running much longer.
