Inkwell October Workshop with Angela Brommel
October 24 @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pm PDT
What happens when a poem moves beyond the page and into public life?
In this workshop with former Clark County Poet Laureate Angela M. Brommel, we will explore how poets can extend their work through public art, community engagement, interdisciplinary collaboration, cultural programming, and place-based projects.
Drawing on examples from Brommel’s own poetry and public humanities practice, we will consider how poets can connect their writing with communities, institutions, landscapes, and other art forms.
Participants will leave with practical strategies for imagining new audiences, partnerships, and possibilities for their own poems.
All ages and skill levels welcome.
