Inkwell April Workshop with Monarch the Poet

Clark County Office of Public Arts presents Inkwell Poetry! These monthly online events will feature an accomplished poet mentor who will lead attendees in workshops with unique themes and topics for poets of all ages and experience levels.

In the literary arts, diction and rhyme are two vital tools in our poetic toolbox that we use to evoke emotions, images, and meaning. How can literary devices like alliteration, assonance, and consonance enhance our craft?

Join Monarch the Poet for a workshop exploring the use of these techniques in his own poetry and a chance to apply these techniques to your own work. Monarch will lead participants through a guided workshop complete with prompts, feedback, and rhymes. All ages/skill levels are welcome for what we are sure will be a fun and rewarding opportunity to learn from the best and enhance your own craft!
