Geoff Tate takes the stage at The Theater at Virgin Hotels Las Vegas on a Sunday at 7:30 PM, performing Queensrÿche’s Operation: Mindcrime in its entirety as part of his Final Chapter farewell tour — supported by a full string ensemble and laser light show.
The 1988 concept album is widely considered progressive metal’s crowning achievement, and Tate’s four-octave tenor voice remains the instrument the record was built around. This is the last tour cycle in which he plans to perform it, making a Las Vegas date genuinely significant for any fan of the genre.
