Wednesday August 5 at 7:00 PM, Comedy Cellar Las Vegas at the Rio opens midweek early with a 90-minute showcase that pulls five rotating headliners across a range of styles, voices, and approaches to stand-up. That variety is built into the Comedy Cellar’s format: no single headliner anchoring the night, but five of them sharing it.
The rotating weekly bill for this week at the Rio is assembled fresh and announced close to showtime. Five comics, each doing a proper 15-to-20-minute set in the intimate underground room modeled on the original Greenwich Village club. Early Wednesday at 7:00 PM in Las Vegas is a strong midweek option, and the Comedy Cellar makes good use of the timeslot.
