Tuesday night at 9:30 PM, Comedy Cellar Las Vegas is just getting started at the Rio Hotel. The late slot suits the club’s personality: five rotating headliners taking the stage one after another, 90 minutes of stand-up that runs well past the polite part of the evening.
The Comedy Cellar made its name in New York’s Greenwich Village, and the Las Vegas room at the Rio was built as a faithful replica of the original. Intimate, underground, close to the stage. You’ll see comics who headline on their own here, sharing a single bill in one of Las Vegas’s tightest comedy spaces.
