Five TV headliners, back-to-back 20-minute sets, a 300-seat room built to mirror the original Greenwich Village club — the Comedy Cellar’s showcase format doesn’t change on Sundays. What changes is the atmosphere: late Sunday at the Rio feels like the weekend giving one last good thing before the week takes over. Las Vegas has a way of making Sunday nights feel necessary, and this room plays right into that.
