Thursday, August 13 opens the Backstreet Boys’ fifth week at Sphere at The Venetian Resort. The residency’s midweek shows attract a crowd that planned specifically around this date rather than whoever happened to be on the Strip, and that intentionality shows in the energy of the room.
The Into the Millennium show presents the group’s late-’90s pop catalog through Sphere’s full immersive production, and by five weeks in, every element of the performance has been refined to its sharpest version — Las Vegas audiences in August get the best form of this show.
