Clark County Museum
The Clark County Museum, located at 1830 S. Boulder Highway in Henderson, NV, offers a unique journey through the history of Southern Nevada. This 30-acre site features a range of attractions that bring the region’s past to life.
At the heart of the museum is Heritage Street, where visitors can explore restored historic homes that depict life in different decades in Las Vegas, Boulder City, and Henderson. These homes, each with its own story, offer a glimpse into the daily lives of Southern Nevadans from the 1910s to the 1970s.
Another key feature is the Anna Robert Parks Exhibit Hall, which takes visitors on a historical journey from the Ice Age to the Age of Entertainment. The timeline chronicles the history and culture of the ancient Pueblo and Paiute, the early Anglo pioneers, and the development of mining technology, gaming, and entertainment heritage in Las Vegas.
The museum also has a Ghost Town and Mining Trail, a Boulder City Depot with a 1918 Union Pacific steam engine, and a nature trail. It’s a place where history enthusiasts, families, and students can explore the rich and colorful history of Southern Nevada.
Open daily from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., the Clark County Museum is an educational and engaging destination for all ages.
