SUMMARY:2026 Annual Veterans Art Reception
DESCRIPTION:July 20 – Aug. 27   \nReception: Aug. 4\, 2026\, 5-7 p.m.   \nRENO\, Nevada – VA Sierra Nevada Health Care System offers veterans a chance to demonstrate their artistic talents in the visual arts at the McKinley Arts & Culture Center\, Gallery East and West. The local event is part of the 2026 National Veterans Creative Arts Festival. The exhibition will run from July 20 – Aug. 27\, 2026.  \nVA medical facilities incorporate creative arts into their therapy programs to further the rehabilitation goals for both inpatients and outpatients. This annual competition recognizes the progress and recovery made through that therapy and raises the visibility of the creative achievements of Veterans.
